Sales Consultant/Social Media

Jewels of the Kimberley is growing!

We are looking for a talented sales consultant and social media content writer to join our team. 

Working with our hand made Australian inspired products, our ideal candidate has experience in a customer service environment in fields such as interior design, marketing or fashion, with a natural flair for creating conversation and stylising with clients. 

Additional responsibility includes brand management across major social media platforms, creating and sharing daily content and keeping in touch with our beloved followers. 

This is a causal position for 20-30 hours per week including some Saturdays. Remuneration will reflect your level of experience and work ethic and will be frequently reviewed based upon performance. 

If you love talking with interesting people and engaging in design and personal style based conversations then this is the job for you! 


  • Always be available to assist potential customers in a warm and naturally friendly manner – in store, by phone, email and social messages. 
  • Control and implement all aspects of social media including daily posts, creating posts, checking inbox messages and comments and responding in a timely manner.
  • Package and deliver parcels using our specifically branded packaging. 

Tasks to be performed in a shared environment:

  • Ensuring cleanliness of showroom. 
  • You must implement strict showroom security procedures at all times.
  • Merchandising showroom and regularly changing displays. 


  • Always have clean and tidy personal presentation and dress appropriately for the environment (uniforms not provided). 
  • A background in one-on-one customer service is preferred but not essential. 
  • A natural ability to initiate conversation and uphold conversation with customers.
