Hand crafted here in my Broome studio, this pendant features champagne and white diamonds, in contrasting 18ct yellow and white gold.
All the pieces are being prepped. The selected diamonds, totalling just over half a carat, are set in their bezels prior to assembly for this design.
The satin finish on the main trunk reflects the rugged texture of the Boab tree. Keeping the branches polished to tie back in with the gleaming bezel set diamonds.
Flux is added to prepare the metals surface for soldering, without it you can’t form a good solder join. Then a protective and generous coating of Boric Acid is used to protect the diamonds against high temperatures.
Every year, as days shorten and the dry season creeps closer, temperatures drop and the leaves fall. Leaving behind a stark tree, the most iconic look of all.
Held together by a single diamond, this piece flows and curves, collecting the diamonds along the way. Sitting flat against the chest when suspended from a chain, omega or silk cable.
A true memoir of the Kimberley region where our natural wilderness is as untamed as it is beautiful.

Hailing from our own Kimberley region and limited locations around the world, fancy coloured diamonds have captured imaginations and inspired souls like no other. From cool blue and brilliant champagne to the coveted pink diamonds, these scintillating gemstones are available in every colour of the rainbow.

Unlike colourless diamonds, fancy coloured diamonds are graded on their hue, tone and saturation. Hue refers to the diamond’s colour, while tone refers to that colour’s relative lightness or darkness. Saturation refers to the strength of the tone; for example, from a light rose blush to an intense or even vivid pink.

Jewels of the Kimberley selects coloured diamonds of outstanding colour and quality to incorporate into our handcrafted jewellery.
