Straight from the Kimberley, showing off the region’s exceptional treasures – a South Sea Broome pearl floating below the sparkle of white and Kimberley champagne diamonds. The soft matte finish highlights these magnificent gems.
Amarina, in indigenous language, means ‘after the rain’ represented in this pendant by the look of raindrops against the sand. Strikingly unique and precious.
Crafted in 18ct Yellow gold
Diamonds:
2 = 0.05ct Round Brilliant Cut G Si Clarity White
3 = 0.08ct Round Brilliant Cut Champagne C3-C4
South Sea Pearl: 10.2 x 9.9 mm Button B grade SWP
There are five values that define a quality pearl:
- Size: The larger the pearl, the rarer it is. South Sea pearls are world renowned for their impressive sizes.
- Shape: Pearls range from the classic round shape, to teardrop and button, to the freeform baroque and naturally spiralled circle pearl.
- Colour: Colour depends on the species of oyster and their environment. South Sea pearls can come in shades of white, ivory, silver, and the rare yellow and rich gold.
- Lustre: Look for pearls that have a bright metallic lustre. The better you can see your reflection in the lustre, the better the pearl’s quality.
- Complexion: Look for a smooth pearl surface, free of blemishes and imperfections.
Jewels of the Kimberley provides a certificate with every South Sea pearl, authenticating its natural colour, lustre and origin.
