What Our Jewellers Association of Australia Accreditation Means for You
in Blog PostsWe’re delighted to announce that Jewels of the Kimberley has recently achieved accreditation with the Jewellers Association of Australia. This national body covers every facet of the jewellery industry, including manufacturing, wholesaling, distribution and retail, and acknowledges the top jewellers and retailers in the country through a strict accreditation process.
What is involved in attaining accreditation?
Accreditation with the JAA is an ongoing process, and we must abide by a number of requirements to maintain our accreditation status. Our team must remain committed to the attendance and completion of industry training and events to keep up with the latest industry developments. We must have a senior full time staff member who has obtained an individual level of accreditation with the Association – in our case, our Creative Director Jodi Penfold. We must also ensure we hold appropriate insurance and agree to abide by the JAA Jewellery Industry Code of Conduct. As a result, whether you’re searching for Argyle diamond jewellery or pearl jewellery in Australia, purchasing from a JAA accredited jeweller provides the assurance that you are in safe hands.
What does accreditation mean for our customers?
While Jewels of the Kimberley has always been dedicated to world-class training, workmanship and customer service, our JAA accreditation provides the assurance that we will continue to go above and beyond for our clients. This means that every piece from our collection and each custom piece is crafted with ethically sourced materials, exceptional skill and a fine eye for detail. From the moment you step through the door, you can expect personal service and the ability to tailor and design pieces to your specific needs. This commitment to customer service extends to our online purchases too, with free insured shipping and hassle-free returns within Australia. When you shop for diamond and pearl jewellery online or at our Broome studio, you can enjoy complete peace of mind and the confidence of knowing our quality and service will consistently be of an industry-leading standard.
As Jodi beautifully puts it, “As well as instilling confidence in our customers, gaining JAA accreditation has given us a sense of pride in our achievements within the industry and we are excited to work on those achievements and continually improve.”
